About this tool
The Cambodia Overtime Pay Calculator computes extra pay for ordinary overtime, regular night work, and overtime worked at night or during weekly rest. Enter your base hourly rate (or derive it from your pay and schedule), input the hours for each category, and instantly see the multiplier, subtotal, and total extra gross pay — all based on the official Labour Law rates.
How it works
Under the Labour Law (Royal Kram NS/RKM/0707/020), as amended: ordinary overtime is paid at 150% of the base hourly rate (Article 139, increased 50%); regular night work between 22:00 and 05:00 is paid at 130% of the day wage (Article 144); overtime worked at night or during weekly rest is paid at 200% of the base rate (Article 139, increased 100%). You can enter a base hourly rate directly or derive one from your monthly/daily pay divided by your own paid days and hours per day — the calculator never assumes a fixed monthly divisor.

Frequently asked questions
What are the overtime rates in Cambodia for 2026?
Under the Labour Law (Articles 139 and 144): ordinary overtime is paid at 150% of the base hourly rate (a 50% premium); regular night work (22:00–05:00) is paid at 130% of the day wage; overtime worked at night or during weekly rest is paid at 200% of the base rate (a 100% premium). These rates are set by Royal Kram NS/RKM/0707/020 and have not been amended.
How is the base hourly rate calculated?
You can either enter your base hourly rate directly, or derive it from your pay: base hourly rate = total pay ÷ (paid days × hours per day). For example, a monthly salary of 1,200,000 KHR with 26 paid days and 8 hours per day gives a base rate of 5,769.23 KHR/hour. The calculator never assumes a fixed monthly divisor — you provide your own paid days and hours.
Does this calculator cover public-holiday work?
No. Public-holiday work is governed by Article 164 of the Labour Law, which leaves the exact indemnity formula to a separate implementing Prakas. Until the currently valid Prakas is verified and cited, this calculator does not include public-holiday pay. Do not assume public-holiday rates are the same as weekly-rest overtime.
What counts as "night work"?
Night work is defined as work performed between 22:00 and 05:00 (Article 144). Regular night work (not overtime) is paid at 130% of the day wage. If you work overtime during night hours, the higher night/weekly-rest overtime rate of 200% applies instead.
